Registration Begins - Conference and Pre-Conference (August 1 - November 7, 2016)
On behalf of the CA Perkins Joint Special Populations Advisory Committee (JSPAC), The 2016 Special Populations Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza, Sacramento, CA on December 1, 2016 - December 2, 2016 and a Preconference November 30, 2016. The JSPAC is a collaborative effort between the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Community College Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) with a mission to promote equity and success in CTE for students from special populations, by providing educators research based professional development, instructional strategies and resources.

Please consider offering your time as a volunteer. This year's registration form includes a choice to volunteer. A conference like JSPAC requires your help as a volunteer to ensure success. A confirmation email will be sent 10 days before the conference confirming you as a volunteer with information on the role and schedule.
November 11, 2016 was the last day to reserve a room at the rate of $95.00. The new room rate is $159 code (AJ2) to reserve a room by November 18, 2016 at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza, Sacramento, CA on December 1, 2016 - December 2, 2016 and Preconference November 30, 2016.

December 1st - 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. (keynote, lunch, breakout, networking reception)
December 2nd - 8:00 p.m.- 1:45 p.m.
Registration $200 per person excluding pre-conference fee
